Restaurant Updates

Bang Bang Cafe is back open in Belltown. They have many vegan options including their own popular vegan mac n’ cheese.

Distant Worlds Coffeehouse has moved down the street from their previous location in Roosevelt.

Flying Apron Bakery is now part of Wildflour Gluten-Free Baking Co. Soon you’ll be able to buy Flying Apron vegan and gluten-free products at Wildflour locations in Ballard and Bellevue and Wildflour products at the West Seattle Flying Apron location.

The HeartBeet Organic Superfoods Café in West Seattle has a new free co-working space, Launchpad, as a neighbor with free access when you support neighbors HeartBeet Organic Superfoods Café or Youngstown Coffee.

Vegan friendly Muriel’s All Day Eats has closed.

A new Next Level Burger location is opening later this month in Ballard.

Vegan friendly restaurant Noodle Time has closed in Capitol Hill.

Piroshky Piroshky Bakery reopened their downtown Seattle location on 3rd Avenue.

Cinnaholic

Cinnaholic has three new seasonal items:

  • Biscoff® Cookie Butter Cinnamon Roll – Gourmet roll frosted with Biscoff® cookie butter frosting, topped with Biscoff® crumbs, powdered sugar, and sprinkles.
  • Candied Almond Cinnamon Roll – Roll with candied almond frosting topped with marshmallows, pretzels, and homemade candied almonds
  • Smore’s Cookie – Gooey chocolate chip cookies, rolled in graham cookie crumbs and topped with toasted marshmallows

Frankie & Jo’s

Frankie & Jo’s vegan ice cream flavors for January are

  • Superbutter Blondie – A creamy almond butter ice cream with caramel swirls and pieces of salty-sweet chewy blondies
  • Chocolate Almond Supercup – Chocolate and almond butter take on the nut butter cup.
  • Tahini Banana Superchunk – Ultra-creamy, tahini banana ice cream blended with chunks of maca-walnut chocolate cookies and swirled with chocolate sauce.

Mighty-O Donuts

The Mighty-O Donuts Green Lake location is celebrating its 20 year anniversary on January 20, 2023! On that day they’re celebrating with throwback tunes from that year and a free donut with purchase while supplies last.

Mighty-O Donuts donut for January is the Orange Blossom Donut. This month’s seasonal drink is Orange Mocha. Vegan. Ballard, Capitol Hill, Denny Triangle, Downtown Seattle, Green Lake.

Molly Moon’s

Molly Moon’s has a seasonal vegan, gluten-free Salted Caramel Ice Cream. Vegan friendly. Multiple locations in Seattle.

Nuflours

Nuflours is bringing back their vegan Sweet Potato Handpie. All their products are gluten-free, peanut-free, and rice-free. Vegan friendly. Capitol Hill.

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw ice cream flavors for January are all vegan to celebrate Veganuary! Their Dairy-Free Decadence Series includes:

  • Banana Foster – A luscious banana caramel spiced with rum and molasses swirled throughout  a delicate banana-infused ice cream
  • Chocolate Sorbet – Dark cocoa powders mixed with rich chocolate to create a velvety ganache blended into a sorbet with a dash of flaky salt
  • Toasted Oat Milk & Cookies – Chocolate chip cookies dunked into a silky cinnamon spiked vanilla oat milk ice cream with hunks of ultra-rich chocolate ganache
  • Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge – Creamy coconut vanilla ice cream drizzled with a housemade semi-sweet caramel fudge swirl then flecked with shards of peanut butter brittle
  • Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting – Bits of spongy red velvet cake infused in coconut ice cream swirled with red velvet batter and topped with hunks of red velvet cake slathered in tangy cream cheese frosting

Veggie Grill

Veggie Grill has added Bread Bowls and Classic Combo Meals to their menu. The Classic Combo Meal includes a choice of the Classic Burger, Santa Fe Chick’n or Buffalo Chick’n Sandwich, a regular side option such as Fries, and a Fountain Drink. The Bread Bowls include either Smokey Corn Bisque or 3 Bean Chili. Vegan. Downtown Seattle, University Village.
